Puppets Workshop

The masks and moveable sculptures — alongside make-up and costumes — are what make this musical a truly unique spectacle in the world. In this workshop, a member of The Lion King’s masks and puppets team will introduce you to some of the 232 puppets — among masks, sculptures, shadow figures and animated figures — that appear throughout the show. They will also explain how they were conceived, how they are maintained, and how they are handcrafted in an identical way across all currently running productions worldwide.
